Filling The Lake (and pulling it all up again!)

Wish we'd have remembered the camera when removing the gel. It was quite a sight. The final layer cured so quickly, bubbles formed :( So, once the "Realistic Water" comes in, we'll have another go at it! Update 10/10/2005: Tried the water again only to have issues with layout warping. Done with Woodland Scenics "Realistic" Water. What a sham... what they don't tell you is it will warp your layout if it is plastic.
Painting the Tunnels and Portal Arches - May 10, 2004
Tunnels were spray painted after masking off rails. Portals and retaining wall were dry-brushed. My wife now calls me Picasso! HA!
